York Golf Club Raises £10,000 for MySight York

Over the past year, members of York Golf Club and MySight York embraced the opportunity to make a difference for local people living with sight loss. Through various fundraising efforts, including a tombola, a Christmas Fair, a charity golf challenge and social gatherings, the club’s members and supporters have contributed to this worthy cause.

Alan Jamieson and Sarah Anderson, the 2023 Captains of York Golf Club, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support received from club members and the community. “We are immensely proud to have nominated MySight York as our Captains’ Charity of the Year. Their commitment to enhancing the lives of local people living with sight loss resonates with us both. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to this fundraising effort, demonstrating the kindness and compassion that is part of York Golf Club.”
