Befriending and Home Visiting

MySight York offers a befriending service where volunteers call or visit clients at home. Regular weekly or fortnightly calls provide friendly conversation and help reduce loneliness. Home visits offer gentle, friendly support to help people with sight loss stay independent, rebuild confidence and enjoy getting out and about again.

This service is available to residents within the City of York Council boundary.
