You may have already noticed that our new website has quietly gone live over the past few days as part of a soft launch. This early launch period gives us the opportunity to carry out final checks, gather feedback, and ensure everything is working smoothly ahead of our official launch on 14th October.
Designed with accessibility and user experience at its heart, the new website makes it easier than ever for people living with sight loss, those who support them, and our partner organisations to access information about our services, activities, and support.
Barbara Fairs, MySight York’s Chief Executive said:
“We are excited to share the news that our new website is now live. Our team has worked hard to ensure this has been designed with accessibility at the forefront and the user experience in mind. We invite those living with sight loss, the people who support them and our partner organisations to explore the wealth of information on our new site, and discover more about empowering blind and partially sighted people to live well with sight loss.
The development of the new website has been a collaborative effort, and we would like to thank Matt Saunders and Nick Pomeroy from All Things Equal for their dedication and support throughout the project. We would also like to recognise the hard work of Louise Calpin and Bex Wood, whose commitment has helped bring the new website to life.”
In the lead up to the official launch, we’ll be sharing more information about the improvements and features available on the new site. In the meantime, we invite you to explore the website and let us know what you think.
